Sports day

Today, there were no normal lessons at school, because it was sports day.
I thought about an event as the German 'Bundesjugendspiele' (an event where you do athletics and teachers look how good you are), but it was totally different.
No one wore sports clothes, and we also did not really do sports. We drove to the beach by bus, and there we had an 8 km walk along the beach, and on this walk we had to do some tasks (for example build a human pyramid).
I've not been at the sea in Rīga before, so for me it was a special experience (while some of the Latvians seemed to be a bit bored, because they already know their beach very well and they've been there often).
I had some very nice conversations, my classmates are great, I'm happy to have a class like this.
