3 months in Latvia

Yesterday 3 months ago, on the 26th of august, I did the craziest thing in my life and went on exchange to Latvia. One year away from home, away from my family, my friends and my school. One year in a country where my language isn't understood. Where they speak another language. In which I was only able to say "Sveiki!" when I arrived here.
I went away from home, but I found a new home. This country became my second home. I love Latvia. The people, the nature, the sound of the language, the traditions, Rīga.
It's different from Germany, and I love that it's different. I learned a lot about Germany and our german mentality while being abroad.
I don't regret coming here, I love it.
I'm already looking forward to see family and friends again, but until this day, I'll make the best out of the 7 months which I've got left. It's true, the longer you're on exchange, the faster time flies. I read a quote: "Bad news: time flies. Good news: you're the pilot." I really like this quote.

On the photo which I added you can see the first time I saw Latvia, the moment when our plane flew over the latvian coast on 26th of august.
