Sailing

My hostfamily has a sailing boat, it's called Lība, and today I went sailing for the first time in my life. I've already been on a sailing boat this autumn, but we were driving just a short distance and with the motor, and so that doesn't really count.
I went with my hostdad and four friends of him. They put the boat in the water just in this week, so it was one of the first drives this year.
First of all, we cleaned the deck, and then changed into warmer clothes (I even wore thermo-underwear, but that was great, because it gets quite cold on the sea).
After that, we sailed. When you pass the border to the ocean for the first time when you sail, there's the tradition that you throw a coin in the water, make a wish, and it will become true. There also was another girl that never sailed with us, so we both did it.
Then we sailed for some hours, and I really enjoyed it.

I'm quite tired, so that will be the whole post for today.
By the way, my plane to Germany goes in 50 days, and I'll get home to my family in 54 days. Excited. ♥♥
