Misunderstandings

Something that happens quite often are misunderstandings. For example because I translate a German sentence in a way only a German could understand it. Or someone is saying something that's only working in his language (for example: ''you go me on the cookie.'' Makes no sense in English, but it's a German way to say ''you're annoying.'')
Some of the most funny misunderstandings are the ones I have when I write SMS with my hostdad (he's not speaking English, so he writes me and I translate).
Down in the picture I put an example. The real meaning of this Latvian sentence is ''do you like smoked fish?'' / word by word: ''smoked fish tastes you?''
